We at Online Freeware wanted a place where everything that you could download was free. Simply put. Are you tired of looking for free tools to use on your computer, and it always turns out to be shareware, or has a limited time to use? If you answered yes, then this is the site for you. We search for freeware based software and share what we find here for free. We will also do our best to find as much open source and freeware files as possible. But if you know of something that we are missing, by all means let us know.
Hello everyone!
Today I just found this free host with:
- 1500 MB of Disk Space
- 100 GB Bandwidth
- Your own domain hosting
- cPanel Control panel
- Website Builder
- Over 500 website templates ready for download
- Free POP3 Email Box and Webmail access
- FTP and Web based File Manager
- PHP, MySQL, Perl, CGI, Ruby.
- No Ads at all !
Yes, I have personally checked this service out. While 1.5 GiGs (1500 MB) of disc space is a bit on the small side, it is free with no banner ads or mindless pop-ups. You can use your own domain name or use their free subdomain name. Personally I would go with using my own domain name. Sign up for free and try them out using their subdomain, then if you approve just put your domain in there.
Check it out Here:

Greetings Viewers,
Today we would like to talk about a rather important topic. Online Protection! As we all know there are a great many bad things out there across the internet. We also know that trust is a huge issue. So, with all of that said, we the team at onlinefreeware.org would like to talk about Firewalls today.
The goal of an Internet Firewall is to block out the bad but still allow the good. Simple object right? Not really, matter of fact, it can get really confusing. See the way the internet works is through communication. Well in order for certain functions to communicate they use what is called ports. These ports allow certain programs to travel freely in order to do their job. Example: port 80 is mainly for Internet Viewing (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and of course many other internet browsers). Well the bad people (hackers, scammers, spammers, and alike) usually know which ports do what tasks. So they know which ports are open and which ports are normally closed.
Here is where the Firewall comes in. The firewalls job is to block the bad people from getting into your computer. But there is an important factor that gets overlooked. Firewalls will NOT stop spyware, adware, viruses, and other bad files. Firewalls only block traffic flow. This though can cause issues later down the road. There are a lot of firewalls out there that block everything until you tell it otherwise. Then after a short period of time you start to get annoyed by the constant questioning, “Do you want to allow or deny X program from connecting to the internet?”
Luckily, Windows XP on up comes with a built in firewall. It is a beginners level firewall but it is a firewall none the less. As long as you have a good known Anti-Virus and Spyware Protection your base Windows Firewall will be enough. But sometimes folks like to have more protection. So the Team at onlinefreeware.org decided to find a free Firewall that was simple to use. We found Outpost Firewall. They also have nice screenshots here.
I know it seems like we talked a lot about Firewalls and yet we barely covered the topic. So with this in mind, the more complex you make things the more problems you are going to have. Keep it simple and easy, and with our help, FREE!

We would like to remind all of our regular users, that now is the time to make sure your PC is running in tip top condition. With this said we suggest scanning your PC with your Anti-Virus programs and your Spyware Detectors. If you don’t have any, or if you don’t feel yours are up to par, please feel free to use ours. All of the softwares we have listed are free versions provided by their specified creators. Some do have pay versions but they made our list because they had a free version. Below are direct links to these tools….
Anti-Virus
Viruses can cause extreme slow down, malfunctions that are random and unexpected, along with even odder results. Please don’t confuse viruses with Spyware. Most viruses cause direct damage to your software.
Spyware Removal
Spyware is also known by many other names, Malware, Adware, Hackware, and of course Spyware. These nasty little critters normally infect certain areas of your computer. They tend to mislead you into something that costs money which is basically called Rougeware. Anything that magically finds your computer to be infect when you didn’t ask it to scan anything more times than not is a fake.
Spyware will also come in the form of a toolbar, spyware scanner, among many others. This too will cause slow computer performance and can have little pop-ups all over the place. Worst case scenario is the spyware is spying on you by reporting your internet viewing habits, keystrokes (the keys on the keyboard you type to say, log into your bank account), and report all of this back via email without your knowledge or permission.
These are items you seriously do not want on your computer. So we at onlinefreeware.org are reminding you this month to check your computers and make sure yours is clean.

I am by far not an expert on music editing. I have used it in a couple of my video projects for their audio backgrounds, and Audacity worked great for what I needed to do. It is a little complex for a beginner but after a few minutes of playing around I became very comfortable. You do need to get a plugin or two for exporting your work into specific formats like MP3. But those plugins are easily found, easy to install, and of course free. Overall, I am pleased with this software and I am sure I didn’t even scratch the surface as far as its capabilities. I have personally played this game and I must admit for an F2P (Free 2 Play) based game, I rather enjoyed myself. It is completely free to play but you can purchase bonus content. The items you purchase are basic add-ons to enhance the game on a personal level. The graphics are rather good but sometimes cause a laggy feeling. However, since it is free, one can overlook such minor inconveniences. To learn more click here.
